    1. Why have dtac TriNet and True Move H Universal merged?

    The merger of DTN and TUC is being done under True Group’s organizational restructure with the objective to simplify the business structures and increase operational efficiencies from the combined strength of the two companies in order to provide better telecommunication services from enhancing quality of 5G/4G signal quality to support operation and services among customers to strengthening both online and offline distribution channel for customer’s maximum benefit. The combination of True Group’s two subsidiaries is conducted under all laws and regulations.

    2. Why the new company will be named True Move H Universal Communication Co., Ltd. or TUC and not dtac TriNet Co., Ltd or DTN?

    This merger between TUC and DTN where TUC will be the surviving entity to assume all the assets, liabilities, rights, duties and responsibilities of DTN in which will seize as the juristic person for maximum benefit of customers and stakeholders under the Civil and Commercial Code of Thailand and all regulations. 

    3. What will happen to TUC and DTN brands?

    dtac and TrueMove H brands will continue as two separate brands in the market in accordance with the NBTC’s resolution.

    4. How will dtac and TrueMove H customers benefit from this merger? What is the long-term impact?

    This merger under Better Together concept will result in improved network experiences with better capacity and coverage. Customers of both brands will have access to a broader product portfolio, additional privileges, better value, and seamless experiences across all touchpoints.

    • Customers can continue to enjoy benefits from TrueYou, TrueSphere, and dtac Rewards.
    • Customers of TrueMove H brand can continue to enjoy privileges and special offers from subsidiaries of True Corp while also having access to additional privileges from dtac’s partner brand.
    • Customers of dtac brand can access a wider range of existing products and services under True brands along with various content and additional services under True Group’s ecosystem.
    5. What will happen to the network and signal quality of True Move H Universal Communication Co., Ltd. or TUC and dtac TriNet Co., Ltd or DTN after the merger?

    This combination is to consolidate the strengths of these two companies to provide services, increase coverage and enhance 5G/4G signal quality with wider network, complete spectrum to better accommodate the demand of customers from 2600MHz frequency which is the main spectrum for 5G service to 700 MHz which has wide coverage with better penetration in indoor area. Besides better network, sales and service channels will also be more widespread from the consolidation.

    6. Are dtac and True customers required to make any transaction due to this merger?

    dtac and TrueMove H brands continue to provide the service to their respective  customers as usual. Customers of TrueMove H brand are not required to make any transaction while DTN customers or dtac TriNet will receive invoice and receipt from  True Move H Universal Communication Co., Ltd.  from August 3rd, 2023 onwards with continuous use of product & services as usual.

    7. Do dtac customers need to make any change? Could they continue to use the same service or need to change SIM cards?

    dtac customers can use the same service as usual without having to change SIM cards nor mobile phone.

    8. Do TrueMove H customers need to make any change or being affected on this matter?

     TrueMove H customers can use the service as usual with no impact.

    9. Do dtac customers or TrueMove H customers need to change package or are they able to earn the same privileges?

    dtac customers and TrueMove H customers can continue using their existing packages with no impact on the service and receive the same privileges.

    10. Can TrueMove H and dtac customers share the service center and sales distribution channels?

    TrueMove H customers could use service at True Service Center and dtac customers at dtac Service Center as well as at their respective sales distribution channels as usual.

    11. After this, post-paid and pre-paid customers of TrueMove H and dtac who want to register for a new number will be registered under which company?

    Pre-paid and post-paid of TrueMove H and dtac customers who register for new numbers will be registered under True Move H Universal Communication Co., Ltd or TUC.

    12. Will the merger impact the prices?

    The merger has no impact on the prices. Customers of dtac and TrueMove H brands can continue to enjoy the existing and additional services at valuable prices together with more privileges.

    13. Are enterprise customers required to make any particular transaction?

    Enterprise customers or business partners of TUC do not have to change any transaction while any transaction such as sales transaction, receipt/tax invoice, order, product receipt, payment which used to be issued by dtac TriNet Co., Ltd will be changed to True Move H Universal Communication Co., Ltd., 18 True Tower, Ratchadapisek Road, Huai Khwang Subdistrict, Huai Khwang District, Bangkok 10310, Thailand tax number 0105553045044 from August 3rd, 2023 onward in which our officers will further inform enterprise customers and business partners.

    14. How the personal database provided to dtac TriNet Co., Ltd. or DTN will be used? How True Move H Universal Communication Co., Ltd., or TUC manage the customer personal database?

    dtac TriNet Co., Ltd. or DTN and True Move H Universal Communication Co., Ltd. or TUC adheres to highest standard of Personal Data Protection and Personal Rights for customers.   After the combination, collection, use, and disclose of personal data of customer of dtac brand and TrueMove H brand will be in accordance with objective we have informed and obtained explicit consent from customers.   Should there be any objectives outside of main on use of personal data, prior consent from customers will be obtained, except for cases that is permitted by laws.

    15. Which channel should customers contact If there is an enquiry or interest in applying for TrueMove H and dtac services?
